How are curly haircuts performed?
All curly haircuts are done DRY, NO tension added, with some exceptions like inner layering to enhance certain curls or to remove excess weight. These haircuts can be worn curly or straight when styled, but I need to understand your curl pattern in order to give you the most suitable style for your curls!
Why are curly haircuts so expensive?
Curl specialists invest on education, quality products, equipment and time to offer the best haircut to suit the client's needs and lifestyle. I have been trained with Rezo, Presley Poe, Forever Curls Academy and Deva Cuts and these are the most sought out curly haircuts. If clients are serious about the way their curly hair looks, it is recommended that they need to invest on a proper haircut, products and maintenance to achieve optimal results.
Why do you not recommend "drug-store" products?
It's not that I don't recommend them; it's that some products that are sold at the store may not be compatible with your curl pattern, may have silicones, may have heavy oils, sulfates, phthalates , parabens, allergens or aren't a clean line. If you do not wish to invest in high-quality products, I can help you to the best of my ability to use your products, but make sure you bring them with you to the service!
Do you exclusively serve only curly clients?
How long is a curly haircut service?
A haircut service can take two hours or more, depending on the density of the hair.
How many times do you recommend coming in for maintenance?
I recommend to come in at least 4-6 months to clean up any split ends and shaping. To secure your next appointment, I highly recommend to schedule an appointment as soon as possible or after the service, as I can be booked out for months, so plan ahead!
Do you offer education to learn how to style curly hair?

Weekends are to spend time with my husband, family, friends, self-care and my two wonderful cats!
